THE 38 WILSON PLATFORM

The exhibitions that we organise at the 38 WILSON PLATFORM are focused on 5 main themes:

WATER  WOMEN  CENSORSHIP  NEW TECHNOLOGIES  TOWARDS A CHANGING WORLD.

Our aim is to reveal the point of convergence between the socio-political dimension of these themes and their artistic, poetic and symbolic transfiguration.

The exhibitions are initially inaugurated in Paris in a private space at 38 avenue du Président Wilson.

In this respect, the 38 WILSON PLATFORM serves not only as a private gallery, but also as an experimental laboratory, in order to kick-start these concepts.

The goal is to hold the exhibitions in other venues: institutions, museums, universities, libraries, art centres and any other entity seeking to link social issues to contemporary artistic creation.

By agreement with the partners wishing to host them, our so-called “Hors les Murs” exhibitions are, by definition, flexible and configurable (solo shows, group and interdisciplinary exhibitions). They can take the form of either simple, or complex modules, depending on the possibilities of the space and the nature of the commissioning venue.
